Description

The KPPA-5HV5HV-65SA is a 4-port sector antenna that features two, 5 GHz antennas in one radome. Two 5 GHz horizontal/vertical polarization antennas are integrated into a single radome enclosure with each internal antenna fed via its own individual connectors.

The two 60° sectors in a single radome are angled to cover 120° – two ports point to -30° and two ports point to +30°. Using three of the KPPA-5HV5HV-65SA antennas is a direct replacement for using six single 60° sectors to cover 360°. This 5 GHz dual sector antenna simultaneously reduces tower space, maximizes coverage and minimizes interference with its high gain and slant dual polarization performance. This sector antenna comes with a rugged case for two UBNT or ePMP radios and an adapter for external mounting up to two Cambium PMP450 radios. Pigtail cables not included.

The KPPA-5HV5HV-65SA sector antenna offers 16.5 dBi gain and a front-back ratio as high as 30 dB. This sector antennas utilizes four N-type connectors and operates in the popular frequency range of 5.2 GHz to 5.9 GHz.

Applications

  • Wireless MIMO LAN systems & IEEE 802.11n applications
  • Point-to-multipoint (PtMP) requiring sectorial coverage
  • Supports U-NII-1, 2, 3, and 4
  • Mobile WiMAX Wireless Internet Provider "cell" sites
  • Deployments requiring frequency reuse
